July 26, 2010:   The most recent Class Database has been published today, along with another segment of the "Class Prophecy."  The next scheduled update of this Website will be in early September, where we will continue publishing pictures from our October Reunion.

We are pleased to report that another of our Lost Classmates has been located- Billie Eason (now Kaiser, who now lives in Indiana.)  Her address is posted on the new Class Roll, so welcome her back!   With the locating of Billie, we have four still lost Classmates, and are asking our readers to help.  Our Ace detective Charles Blumentritt located Billie with just the information that Billie 'returned to Arkansas after Graduation,' so even though you might not know their current address, anything you can remember about them may be the clue Charles would need to locate them again.

Please tell us anything about our Lost Classmates:    Barbara Fay Allison   ,  Martha Sue Franklin,  Gloria Valadez,  Dorothy White  that you can, please!

We just recently received word that Classmate Carlene Carr Fields has died in Austin, of unknown causes, but the family has issued thanks to the Oncology staff at Seton Hospital for their many years of support to Carlene.   Her obituary and guestbook can be viewed online at:    http://www.robertmassie.com

June 30, 2010:   We just received word that Classmate Margie Motl Ray passed away in Houston last October from cancer.  Thanks to Classmate Marie Wuemling Snelgrove for providing this information.

June 23, 2010:    We were recently notified of the passing away of Classmate Shirley Self Shuffield in Lubbock May 2010 from an infection due to surgery gone awry.  She developed gangrene, and as a result had to be removed from the ventilator during  treatment.

June 19, 2010:      Two more of our Lost Classmates have been located:   Ann Moos Riker has been located and now lives in Crystal City, Texas- (EMail    :mailto:ranchhands2@aol.com.)  Also, we have been notified that Lost Classmate Joyce Nard Brown is now deceased-  date not reported,  but we were advised about this from Joyce's sister Frances, who is a member of SAHS Class of 1953.     New Reunion photographs were posted today, so check them out!   In the next update to this Website, the newest (and most recent) Class Database will be posted- sometime in August, hopefully.

December 8, 2009:  A long lost Bobcat- Saundra Lederman- has been found after an inquiry was made about her during our just concluded 50+5 Reunion.  She was so lost that she wasn't even on our 'lost' list!  Seems that she is a member of our 1954 Class that completed her credits early, and graduated with the 1953 class.  As a result, she wasn't somehow recognized as a true 1954 Classmate until just now.  We thank Classmate Charles Blumentritt for his untiring efforts in locating her.  She will be listed in the Class Roll when it is next updated.  In the meantime, here is her address:  Saundra Smith, 13233 Maple Lane, Milwaukie, OR. 97222, (659-0187)   E-mail:   mailto:ansls@msn.com            Welcome back, Saundra!

December 4, 2009:   We have just received word that fellow Classmate (and Reverend) Collyns Moore has unexpectedly died Tuesday, November 10. 2009 at his home in Winter Park, Florida.  His wife Barbara reports that he had a massive stroke in his sleep that Tuesday.  Collyns had been a Minister for over 50 years, and was, for a while, a Minister here in San Angelo in the late 1950's.  Collyns had preached the previous Sunday, and had a normal and busy day the Monday of Nov 09, 2009.  Barbara said that he never preached a Sunday sermon without 'going back to Texas' for a story to illustrate a point, or sometimes just to hear a good story!   Condolences may be sent to Barbara at :632 Brechin Dr., Winter Park, Fl. 32792, or at bgracemoore@gmail.com.

January 19, 2009:    Google has placed every street address in San Angelo on line, and you now can take a 'Virtual Street Level Tour' of San Angelo to any place you wish, just as if you were driving by in a car. For a link to this feature, click on the "Features" button from the homepage, and select 'Virtual Angelo.

NOTE:  There is a list being circulated on the Internet titled:   "You are Old School and from San Angelo if..."  and gives many San Angelo remembrances that are fun to read.  This list has now been posted on our Class Weblog site    sahs1954.wordpress.com,    so check it out!
